Dr. Christopher Pallas won Catalytic Research Grant and also Presented a webinar for the International NGO Training and Research Centre in Oxford, UK

Dr. Christopher Pallas won a Catalytic Research Grant from the International Studies Association to convene a workshop, Beyond the Boomerang: Evolving Patterns in Transnational Advocacy, at the 2017 ISA Annual Convention. The grant was co-written with Elizabeth Bloodgood of Concordia University.

In addition, he was the lead presenter in a global webinar titled "Whose responsibility is it to push for well-planned exit?" The webinar was hosted by the International NGO Training and Research Centre (INTRAC) in Oxford, UK and attended by over 70 representatives of international and local NGOs, government agencies, and researchers. He spoke on 'Aid Reduction and Local Civil Society Organizations: Lessons from the HIV/AIDS Sector in Vietnam.'
